Hi, I am Elaina Wirth!
I am member of the Douglas County 4-H Youth Club, and I am raising money for my livestock project!
About My Livestock Market Project
I have learned so much through this project that goes way beyond the main responsibility of caring for an animal daily. I have learned how to price my animals in order to make back the money I spent too take care of them and I have had to figure out how to get money to be able to do this project next year. I spend almost all of my free time taking care of the livestock and making sure they are healthy and happy. I have to make sure they get all of the vitamins they need to stay healthy by providing them a 100% grain and grass fed diet. When the animals get sick or need care I worry about them and will do anything in the world to help them. After I get to know and love the animals I have too let them go so I have had to learn coping methods with separating from them. But being part of a great team with the youth 4h members has taught me so much about being a responsible team member and I have learned how to work well with others to achieve a common goal.
Thank you in advance for your generous support!
